This Blog Ain’t Dead!

I apologize for not posting for a very long time. Let me try to get you somewhat up to speed as to some of the more recent events in my life.

I have since cutaway from it all. Meaning I have given up my full time job, security and a steady source of income to pursue my dream of making a living online from passive income and being location independent.

Through the magic of the internet all of this is possible.

However, I am not there yet, but I am getting closer.

I’m not a millionaire and I’m not going to lie and put on this big front and say that I make thousands of dollars on line every month. Which I certainly do not.

I am however making steady income online through the following channels.

Google Adesense

Affiliate Marketing

Blogging

Niche Websites

Selling iPhone Apps

It’s not enough to live on at this stage, but it is getting there – slowly albeit.

Sorry for Not Posting

I have not posted in a long time as I have been traveling since February of this year and will continue to travel until for most of the remainder of the year.

During my downtime and in-between my travels I will continue posting and keeping you updated as to how things are going with iOS Development, tips, coding and maybe even some tutorials.

Needed Time to Think

I wanted to step away and take a break from this blog for awhile as I wasn’t sure what direction I wanted to take it. After sitting on it for quite sometime I think I have finally decided which way that is.

Being as I am not totally wrapped up in iOS Development now – I want that to be a very large part of this blog. I only started learning Objective C about August of last year.

I had no idea what I was getting myself into.

I absolutely laugh (my self included) when I read posts about “We would of made them (the iPhone Apps) ourselves but we wanted to save some time so we hire somebody to develop them for us.”

As if anybody with no prior programming or Objective C experience can just sit down and bang a bunch of crappy little Apps out in a few seconds.

Like they were Niche Websites or something.

It’s not.

So, be forewarned that if you get yourself into iOS Development you, and you are serious about it – be prepared to be in it for the long haul.

Be prepared to put in a lot of effort and a lot of very hard work. If not, then just walk away now and save yourself some money and a lot of time.

It really is learning a new language.

Coco2d Enter Stage Left

I started dabbling with Cocos2d only a few months or so after playing with X Code. Which after several hundreds maybe even thousands of hours (I’m slow) I’m just starting to grasp and get the hang of now.

I chose Cocos2d as I want to save myself thousands of dollars and not have to hire my own iOS Developer to bring my iPhone Apps to fruition. Also, Objective C is also a life long skill and learning process. One that I can utilize from anywhere as long as I have my MacBook and an internet connection.

Both of which are very important to me, my wife, my family and my lifestyle.

While I can’t offer a whole lot in actually teaching somebody how to code or program – I can however share my previous experiences and drop a few tips here and there to any iOS newbies that might be out there. It is my aim to help other newbies who want to get into iPhone App Development by perhaps giving a different angle or perspective at looking at and learning how to code.

Programming is Hard

Programming is a very different way of thinking and is extremely logical. I myself being a an extremely graphic and visual minded person find it difficult.

It is with my perspective I hope to share my experience and knowledge with other very graphic and or visual artists on how to learn and tackle programming so that they too can get a piece of the iOS Pie.

I will be documenting a lot of my iOS experiences along the way. Many of which, I am sure most iOS, Objective C and programming gurus will probably find obvious or no brainers and probably even laugh at.

However, it is my hope that if it is out there then maybe somebody can learn from my mistakes or gain something from it.

And, because I have a memory of a gold fish, I will be posting things that I seem to always forget so that I can go back and reference them in the future.

This is a WordPress Platform

As this blog is a WordPress Blog, I still want to share tips and blog about handy plugins and everything else that comes with being a WordPress blog, tips, updates, etc – so you might see a bit of that splashed in here and there.

In Closing

With that being said you might find odd little tid bits here and there, funny or random thoughts or musings.

I think it’s safe to say from here on out this will mostly be a blog about my iOS Journey into developing iPhone Apps full time, from anywhere in the world and making a living from it.

I have a ton of content, information and resources that I have gathered since last year that have helped me to learn and create iPhone Apps. I am excited to share all of this information with other iOS newbies. I hope that you will find it helpful and can learn a thing or two from it.

Don’t Wait – Take Action!

The longer you wait, the longer it is going to be before you can get start making money on The App Store.

I strongly urge any and iOS newbies or anyone who is interested in what it takes to develop iPhone Apps to follow along, start coding, start learning and start earning.

Cheers!

Is BidVertiser a Scam?

I don’t know, but I’m sure I’ll find out.

I have never tried BidVertiser before and there seems to be mixed reactions on the internet about if BidVertiser is a Scam and if their legit or not?

My First Impressions with BidVertiser

I have to be honest and feel that my initial impressions with BidVerstiser is I got duped! I’m not happy with them, and my ad isn’t even running yet.

Let me explain.

I just received an email from BidVertiser offering $20 dollars in free advertising for publishers. I read the email and thought I’d give it a whirl.

After all, I don’t have anything to lose, right?

Here is the gist of the email I received from BidVertiser:

“BidVertiser now offers $20 in clicks for current publishers!

We are so confident that BidVertiser will work well for you also as an advertiser that we will immediately add to your advertiser account $20 worth of clicks.

To become an advertiser, simply login to your account and click “Become an Advertiser”.
Visit: http://www.bidvertiser.com
Hurry – Offer expires within 48 hours!

Please do not respond directly to this e-mail because we are unable to receive e-mail responses to this address. Should you encounter any problems or have any questions, please login to your BidVertiser account and click on the Support link.

Best Regards,
BidVertiser Support Team”

Sounds good, I’ll give it a Shot!

Some of you may be familiar with that BidVertiser email, some maybe not. I have received this email a number of times before.

I almost did as I normal do and that’s just delete it.

Then I had an Idea

It’s $20 dollars worth of free advertising – why not try to capitalize on it?

I don’t have to do anything except sign up with an Advertiser account, collect my $20 dollars in free BidVertiser advertising, see how advertising on BidVertiser works out for me and that it!

Right?

Wrong.

BidVertiser is MisLeading

Even though it is written in big bold letters stating:

“You Will Not Be Charged”

This is very misleading because BidVertiser they tell you this before you create your Ad.

You then spend a solid amount of time creating, editing and tweaking your ad until your happy with it.

After clicking through a couple more pages…Ahhh, I should have known.

Now BidVertiser prompts you to enter your Credit Card details.

I knew it!

I can always smell these things from 100 miles away. Which is why I have always just deleted these stupid BidVertiser emails in the first place.

Not only that but after all that, I have to wait up to 48 Hours to have my ad approved!

Totally lame.

Initial BidVertiser Thoughts

Not happy and I feel swindled by BidVertiser and I haven’t even started running an ad yet.

Even worse, if and when my ad finally starts running. I must be sure to log into BidVertiser and ‘Pause‘ my Ad Campaign.

Otherwise my credit card will be charged for any additional advertising costs that may come up if it the advertising costs go above my free $20 dollars.

All this in just the first 20 minutes of using BidVertiser.

So What’s the Big Idea?

The reason why I chose take up BidVertisers free $20 dollars in advertising was so I could run some ads for free that are directed to some of my affiliate links.

It would be a great way to see if I could make some extra money with my affiliate links using BidVertisers free advertising.

I also thought it would be a good opportunity to share my experience with anybody else that might be thinking about giving BidVertiser a try.

How will BidVertiser Work Out?

I don’t know, stay tuned for additional BidVertiser posts to see how this experiment pans out.

Ideally, the best way that this can turn out is I can make some affiliate sales with BidVertiser Ads, turn a profit, put some money from the profit back into advertising with BidVertiser.

Rinse and Repeat.

Have You Used BidVertiser?

If you’ve used BidVertiser either for Advertising or to display ads on your site, I’d love to hear from you. Maybe you took up BidVertiser for their free $20 in advertising. If so, I’d love to hear from you.

Cheers!

I used to use Buffer App and Tweriod to Auto Tweet my Twits on Twitter.

Gone are the days of using multiple Twitter Apps to schedule your Auto Tweets. Thanks to Timely.

Timely Enter Stage Left

Timely takes the best of both worlds and mashes them up conveniently for you in one fine Twitter App.

Timely lets you Schedule 9 Tweets as which is the same amount as Buffer App.

A quick side note about Buffer App.

I looked everywhere and could not find out how to close my Buffer Account. I did some quick Googling and also found that many other Buffer App users had the same problem.

The Magic Timing of Timely

According to Timely the whole thing is Magic, like the iPad. Actually, what Timely does is “analyze your past 199 tweets and figure out the best time slots”.

I have been using Timely for almost a week now. I can tell you that it works really, really well.

I get more ReTweets and more traffic to my site then I did before, when I just Tweeted randomly throughout the day.

I’ve gone from regularly getting 1 or 2 ReTweets up to as many as 11. That’s in just the first week – lots of good results to look forward to with Timely.

I realize that is still quite a low number of ReTweets but it beats 1 or 2 ReTweets.

Bells & Whistles

Some of the other nice features that Timely has are:

Multiple Accounts

Built in Bit.ly URL Shortening

Shows Published, Retweets and Reach

Shows Reach for each Individual ReTweet

It’s Very Easy to See who has ReTweeted You

Timely is a very slick and easy to use Twitter App that helps you Schedule your Auto Tweets. The interface is slick and minimalist which makes the user experience easy to get around and navigate.

Last month I was recently contacted by somebody from AdBeans about running some AdBeans ads on a niche site of mine.

Chances are if you own and operate a blog or a website, and you probably do if you are reading this. Then you’re probably well aware of the bucket loads of Spam & Scam eMail and comments left on your blog.

Initially I was skeptical about AdBeans.

As it turned out, my gut feeling and skepticism was right.

The first thing I did was go to their website to take a look and find out what they’re all about.

No Second Chance to Make a First Impression

My first impressions was that I was not impressed at all. The whole thing just looks and feels shady.

The AdBeans website still has: Copyright (c) 2008 AdBeans.com.

Really?

You can’t at least update the date? It’s been 4 years!

That was the first Red Flag.

The second Red Flag is they’re website looks very dated, amateur and mostly unprofessional all around.

Let’s face it. As publishers, we need to have at least some faith in a system that is going to be paying us money.

So far, I had no faith in AdBeans at all.

Roll the Dice

I sat on the AdBeans proposal for about a day or two. My final decision was based on “What do I have to lose?”

Not much.

I thought to myself “I can try them out for a month, see how it goes.” If it sucks and I don’t get paid. I can just pull out, stop running AdBeans ads and chalk it up as experience.

The Last Red Flag

Not only was my very short experience with AdBeans crap, it was a complete waste of my time.

After I finally made a decision to give AdBeans a try, the AdBeans employee that initially contacted me just ignored my response, and that was that.

What?

Why even bother contacting somebody offering to run AdBeans on one of their sites and then just blow them off when they take the time out of their day to reply to you and accept your offer?

AdBeans didn’t even have the courtesy to Reply and say “Hey, sorry. We’re not interested anymore.” or something along those lines.

Nothing. Just dead silence.

Maybe they get a lot of eMail and it takes them awhile to reply?

Totally Lame and Totally Unprofessional.

AdBeans Sucks!

I wouldn’t even waste my time with AdBeans. It’s obvious that they are running a ‘fast and loose’ and unprofessional business.

There are also countless threads about AdBeans laying around the internet about how Publishers who ran AdBeans Ads Never got Paid.

AdBeans is a No-Go

If you own a blog or a website stick to the more trust worthy ad programs such as the obvious AdSense and Chitika

Have You Dealt with AdBeans Before?

If so, what was your experience?

It’s hard to believe that my first post for this blog was on May 10, 2011. I’ve said it so many times and probably will continue to do so.

Time really does fly.

Sometime back also back in May of 2011 I discovered an amazing blog called SmartPassiveIncome with Pat Flynn. It opened my eyes up to passive income and making money online. Making money online is something that I’ve always known about. I’ve been making money with Google Adsense since 2007.

I just didn’t know that amount of money you can make online can be so much.

In saying that, while I would love to make as much as Pat Flynn does. I would be happy with just enough to get by and be free to travel to be with my wife, family and friends.

That is what this journey is all about.

If I make as much as him. Then bonus! If not, I still get to live the life that I want.

Living off of Passive Income

Also in 2011 I set myself a very high goal, which was to be living off of Passive Income by the end of 2011. Which I found out is almost impossible to do in 7 months.

Unfortunately, I didn’t meet that goal.

There were a lot of factors that soon came into play when I started to learn about all the options that are avaialbe with making money online and passive income.

Welcome to Connect

One of those options is creating an income with iPhone Apps which is something that caught my attention and one that I have always been interested in.

There was a strong pivotal point that soon presented itself to me. It was one that I had to be quick to make a decision on. I knew that I would be sacrificing one thing for another.

Time Vs Money.

Usage of my time was and still is very critical at this stage. I could stay focused on my niche websites, Amazon and Adsense, Chitika, etc.

Or, I could learn a new skill that I could use for a lifetime.

To me, the benefits of learning an new skill, in this case Objective-C far out weighed the immediate benefits of earning money through what websites I have already.

It’s a no brainer, really.

It’s a lot of Money to Develop

When I wanted to get my iPhone App developed I placed an ad on Odesk. I searched through the pile of applicants that soon came flooding in.

I narrowed it down to a few and soon had my short list.

But, there was a problem.

The amount of money that required to develop an iPhone App far outweighed my minimal budget. To top all that off, I still had to join the Apple Developer program.

Some basic math showed me just how many Apps I would have to see just to break even.

Being smart about it and weighing out the Risk Vs Reward involved with this project. I opted to retract my project and chose to learn how to do all coding myself.

Easier said then down and half a year later.

It’s difficult to program. I’m not the best at it, but I continue to learn and study Objective-C and Cocos2D. I’ve since released 7 iPhone Apps all on my own.

Don’t get me wrong. They’re not JetPack Joyride or anything remotely close to it but they are steps in the right direction and they have also earned me money online.

100 Websites

The flip side to that coin is that I have had very little to no time at all to work on or develop my several niche websites and my 100 Websites Goal. That I set for myself back in August.

It was another goal that I set that was very high and difficult to meet. It is also one that I am continuing to work towards but at a much slower pace.

It’s just too much for one person to do. It’s as simple as that.

I may look into outsourcing some of the work for all these websites that I have laying around now that are just collecting dust.

I really feel that I probably would have met the 100 Websites Goal by the end of the year if I didn’t always have my nose poking around in Xcode.

Amazon Associates

The same goes for my experience when I did the training that Chris Guthrie has with his Niche Profit Course.

Which is a great product and highly recommend for anybody who is interested in making money online through Amazon.

I am seeing some more money coming in from Amazon now which is awesome. Also, since all the groundwork is already in place and that the domains are older now it makes it a bit easier for these sites to get a least a little bit of traction.

Which is also another reason to get started with any project that you have floating around in your mind. The longer you put it off, the longer it will take for you to potentially start making money from it.

You gotta act now.

Learn and Keep Learning

I learned a lot in a very short amount of time in 2011 and encourage you to do the same. One of the biggest things I’ve learned is not to spread yourself so thin.

Focus is very important.

I’m learning to be the Hedgehog rather then the Fox.

2012 A More Definitive Direction

While I am still going to put time and energy in to my previous efforts, websites, ec. My main focus is going to continue to learn Objective-C and keep releasing iPhone Apps. Niche websites, blogs, affiliate marketing, etc will be secondary to that.

That said, I am really excited for 2012. I really believe that this is the year that I will be totally free and location independent.

That is my goal, that is my dream and that is what I continue to work towards.

Do Not Live by Other People’s Dogma!

I’m not going to fluff things up at all. It’s been a tough ride and it’s not easy. You really must be prepared to most of not all of your spare time doing something online in efforts to get your business up and running.

If you can afford it. Then definitely outsource your work and your projects.

If you can’t or don’t want to invest the money. Then be prepared to be a very, very busy bee.

And drink lots of coffee.

In my previous post I wrote about the dreaded WordPress 3.3 Update – PopUp Domination Error. Which obviously occurred when the WordPress 3.3 update became live and available for updating you blog.

I made the update on another website and couldn’t get back into the WordPress Dashboard.

I initially wasn’t going to take the time to write or publish that post. The first reason being is I generally like to write at least a 500 word article as a minimum.

It’s sort of my personal standard and I try to stick to it.

I’ve since learned that while 500 word+ articles are good – Size Doesn’t Matter.

I really don’t like to write short posts and feel that they almost cheat the reader. I generally feel as though short posts are the easy way out.

I don’t think that any more.

That post has helped a lot of other WordPress users out there and I’m very grateful for that. It’s a nice feeling to know you have helped somebody.

Even if it is something as small as a silly WordPress error.

Even though you don’t know who they are and probably never will.

A Small Amount of Your Time can go a Long Way!

It took me about 15 minutes or less to write, proofread and publish that post. That is also including the time it took to add and edit the schnazzy graphic to it too.

A short amount of my time spent has helped out lots of other people out there and saved them some of their time too.

Very cool!

So What?

Well, as it turns out that small post that took very little of my time at all has generated the most comments ever for this blog. It has brought in some decent traffic and is also ranking very well in Google for that error.

Which is great!

What’s the Moral of the Story?

The moral of the story is. If you have an idea for an article of a post, you should always take the time to write it and publish it. A lot of people out there will most likely find value in it and show there appreciation.

To be honest, I was pretty sure that, that post would have gone unnoticed. Which is why I almost didn’t write it.

There has been many times in the past where I was going to publish a short article, but didn’t. I thought that it was too short, that it wasn’t good enough or that it’s just a waste of time.

Now I question myself and wonder if those previous ideas that I didn’t post would have helped others out along the way?

I don’t know.

Lesson learned.

Don’t Make the same Mistake as I Did!

If you have an idea for a post, whether it be good or bad, too short, too long. Don’t let that stop you from writing and publishing it.

You never know what kind of traffic it can bring to your blog and who you might help out along the way.

Uh oh.
I just updated a blog to WordPress 3.3. Once I did the automatic update I got the following error when I tried to go to Dashboard.
Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_rtl() in /home/money/public_html/wp-includes/general-template.php on line 2102

Uh oh.

I just updated a blog to WordPress 3.3. Once I did the automatic update I got the following error when I tried to go to Dashboard.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_rtl() in /home/money/public_html/wp-includes/general-template.php on line 2102

Don’t fret though. The solution is easy.

It appears to be a compatibly issue with the PopUp Domination plugin.

Here’s how to fix it:

Login to your Site Using FTP

Navigate to your WordPress Plugins File

Find the popup-domination file

Change the Name of it – This Will Deactivate it

Go to Your Dashboard

You should now be able to use your WordPress 3.3 Dashboard Now.

On a side note. It appears that even though you get this error, from the front end of your blog, everything should be functioning properly.

This error prevents you from going to the Dashboard of your blog.

The only fix for now is to wait for a solution from PopUp Domination to get their Plugin up to speed and compatible with WordPress 3.3

The Living Dead

I recently read a great post at Benny Hsu’s blog GetBusyLivingBlog which I thought was really good and at least for myself, very thought provoking.

I started to leave a comment and then quickly realized I had a lot to say and thought it might be a good idea for a post. Plus, I didn’t want to leave a huge, novel of a comment cluttering up his blog.

Living in Your Car and Washing at the Gym

So, I got to thinking. The dude at the end of the post that is mentioned. He lives in his car. It also sounds like a lot of the 50 Ways to be a Loser in Life stem from the dude in the car and are directed at him.

A couple thoughts began running through my mind.

Happy with That?

What if the guy in the car was happy? So, what if he lives in his car. At least he showers, is clean and has a job. But, what really got me thinking is.

What if he is happy?

Now, maybe I’m just playing Devils Advocate here, because chances are that in reality the dude that sleeps in his car, most likely isn’t happy.

For Arguments Sake

But, lets assume and for arguments sake, say that he is.

So, what if he lives and sleeps in his car?

He’s clean, has a job and is not a drain, or burden on society.

Maybe he does gamble too much, maybe not? Who cares? Why should anybody?

He likes and reads a lot of Fiction. So what! At least he reads! 47% of Detroit CAN NOT EVEN READ!

Does he live in his car because he gambles too much? Let’s hope not. But, if he does. At least he has a job and is not selling food stamps so that he can pay the blinds.

But, for this post lets say that he chooses to live in his car. Not because he gambles too much.

Again, so what? If the guy is in his heart of hearts, is totally happy with himself and his life?

Who cares?

The dude is happy!

The Deciding God

Who is who, to tell what is what, and to dictate what makes them happy in their own individual lives?

I’m not and I’m certainly hope that you’re not.

That this Happiness should be the same for a guy that sleeps and lives in his car? Or, maybe the other guy down the road who find happiness playing Golf with his friends on the weekend?

There is no difference between the two. None.

People are different and find happiness in different things.

Corporate Happiness and Burger Happiness

Not everybody finds happiness in putting on a pin stripe suit and tie everyday, sitting in traffic or a hot, stinky train on their way to work. Only to find themselves at the end of the day doing the same thing, but in reverse.

Processed Lemmings.

Where they sit in their box, like a caged money pushing papers and stroking keys all day long. Lying and backstabbing to each other faces just to climb the Corporate Ladder and claim their name to fame.

Whining and belittling others.

Bitching about how Bob’s hair is not brushed to their perfect standards, or his pants are different.

Really?

Welcome to the Corporate World where Lies are the Local Currency.

Let it Blow!

Maybe Joe Blow from around the corner is 40 years old and loves flipping Burgers at McDonalds.

I don’t and I wouldn’t be happy or accept that with myself. I have much higher goals then that. Thank you very much.

But, if Joe Blow is truly happy with himself and his life about flipping burgers at 40 making minimum wage.

Then Good for Him! So be it.

I’m not the one to say. “You know Joe, you should really…”

Nobody is.

The Product Hanger

I used to work with a man years ago. Back then he was in probably his mid 50′s. We worked in a factory.

Where, when? It doesn’t matter.

But, for anybody that has worked in a factory before then you know how monotonous and receptive the work can be.

Very boring and it Sucks. Big time.

This dude. He hung product all day long. That’s all he did at work.

The product hung on a hanger. It was cleaned, painted, dried and removed. That was his job.

The whole process took about 25 minutes or so.

Hang about 10 to 20 products in a row – depending on how faster you are.

Take off about 10 or 20 products and place them in a pan.

Rinse and Repeat.

He did this all day long, 8 hours a day – 40 Hours a Week – sometimes more.

And you know what? This guy was one of the happiest guys I ever met.

He loved his job and he loved what he did.

Hanging stuff all day long. 40 hours a week.

He didn’t want to do anything else, he didn’t want to get rotated around.

He had pride in his job, did it well and loved what he did.

He was Happy!

Back to the Box

The in-between hours are used to make money Which pays for big or small box, filled with contents, on a plot of land, on a rock flying through the universe.

They call it a Home.

Most if not all of the money is owed to the bank, which are the real owners of the home.

Most money is spent on a mortgage for 30 Years.

In the mean time, opportunities are passed on, sacrifices are being made and life is passing them by.

This house or ‘home’ is clearly something they don’t truly own. You can’t take it with you.

When you die, somebody else is going to move into it, put their belongings into it and do it all over again.

Nice!

That House that You Claim to Own. It’s not Yours. It’s the banks. Even when you do pay it off.

It’s not going anywhere.

You can spare me all the psychobabble about Mortgages, Equity, Investment Properties. I used to work in Mortgages and know all about it.

Mortgages are stupid. Just take a look at the banks. Even they screwed up.

It’s totally pointless and is a waste of time and money!

If You can Pay it Off Fast

Unless you are well off, rich, or a celebrity (which most people Are Not) and you make enough money to pay that mortgage off yourself in say 5 to 10 years tops. Then go for it!

Better yet. Buy in in cash.

If not then, Forget about it. You might as well just flush your hard earned, filthy corporate bucks down the toilet.

Or, gamble it.

The choice is yours.

Tangents

Maybe I went off a tangent here. Maybe I didn’t. Regardless, that’s why I think Benny’s post was so great.

It gets you thinking.

Back to the Dude in the Car

In reality and not in the post I am speaking of. He probably isn’t happy and probably needs some help and direction in his life. Maybe he doesn’t have any friends? Maybe he’s depressed? Maybe he is ill? Maybe his wife left him? Maybe somebody close to him DIED?

Who knows?

The thing I do feel sad about though is that anybody that knows Benny and works with him, knows who he is talking about. Chances are good they know about his blog and will be reading or have read the post about the dude that lives in his car with his small flat screen – will get back to him.

Then he has to go to work knowing that he is a loser and what is thought about him.

Which probably doesn’t help his situation at all.

Some Quotes

“He’s a nice guy, works hard, but I know a lot of what NOT to do from him.”

Such a backhanded compliment.

“He doesn’t believe in saving money. When I asked why, he said, “What if I die tomorrow?” He gets money and spends it.”

Not everybody believes in saving money. And believe it or not. People do die tomorrow.

He’s right. What if he does die tomorrow? What if he died saving all this hard earned money? Probably at low wages too.

That would then mean he died with a whole mountain of money but didn’t get to do or experience anything in life. He just sat their with a lot of unused money. His whole life.

Awesome. You might as well live with bubble wrap on, in a padded room, hiding from and in fear of everything and call that living.

All because he believed in saving money, for box, which is called a home. He never got to play, travel or enjoy life. He just sat on a mountain of hard earned money, worried about bills, his house, and all the empty contents that go inside of it.

I’ve never seen a hearse with any of those in it.

We’re All Walking on Eggshells

Life is one of the most fragile and delicate things there is. So many people don’t know or realize this and take life for granted. Ignoring this, doing that, saving this, saving that. Pay this, pay that. All while life is whizzing by.

They go their whole life forgetting what’s important to them. Blinded and confused over saving this, saving that.

They died with a lot of unspent money, didn’t do anything or did very little. A life wasted.

Then the next they know. Their life is over, or one of their family or friends life is over.

Just like that. In the blink of an eye.

Live in the moment people. Or, at least take some time to enjoy your life.

What you have left of it. Because that’s it. Lights out. Game over man.

In Closing

I hope that this guy in this post isn’t real and is just a metaphor used for the Ways to be a Loser post. I also want to thank Benny for a very thought provoking post.

Question Answered

“What else can you add to the list of what not to do?”

I want to add this to the list.

Don’t spend or waste your time or energy venting on what and how other people choose to live their lives. Whether they are happy or not. It’s not your life. It’s none of your business. Their not hurting you or your family and are supporting themselves.

Don’t worry about how other people live their lives. What makes them Happy may or may not Make You Happy.
