It’s hard to believe that it’s been over 5 months now since I started blogging. I’ve said it a million times before and I’ll say it again.

Time Really does Fly!

I can’t believe that for one, I wrote my first post on here in May. For two, that it is almost the end of the year. If you have been putting off starting your own blog or a project that you’ve had in the back of your mind.

Stop putting it off and do it now.

First Post

My first post on this blog was on May 5th, of this year. It was on how to hide WordPress pages.

I’m glad I started blogging when I did. If I hadn’t then I would be 5 months behind and that much further away from reaching my goals and being where I want to be in life.

Which is exactly why you need to start doing what ever it is that you want to do. Do it now! Don’t put it off for tomorrow or next week.

Now is the Time.

Fun with Google Analytics

Here are some numbers from Google Analytics about this blog.

• According to Google Analytics my number 1 keyword(s) for search are ‘iwings niche review’ – Back in July I purchased and reviewed Chris Guthrie’s Niche Profit Course.
• My highest viewed page is the Passive Income Resources page which ideas and links to different ways to make money online. The idea was not mine. I got it from Pat Flynn over at SmartPassiveIncome.com. Thank you Pat. You rock!
• Since my first post I’ve had 1,370 visits and 2,738 page views. I’m pretty stoked about that and I am eager to see how much more it will be in a years time.

Show me the Money!

I don’t want to break any Adsense rules so I won’t be super specific about earnings.

However, since my first post on here back in May up until now just this domain has made over $17 Dollars. Which is roughly around three and half dollars a month.

If I factor in the earnings of my other websites that I own.; it is over $460 dollars since May.

I Just Started Writing

When I first started this blog I really didn’t know what direction it would head or how it would get there. I wanted to share WordPress Tutorials and How to Guides. I wanted to share with you my experiences with making money online and how I go about doing it.

All I knew is that I had to just start writing and I had to do something. And I had to do it now.

I learned this from an incredible dude named Pat Flynn over at SmartPassiveIncome.com whom I have never heard of before. I was amazed at what he had done for himself and his family by making money online.

I don’t remember where I found the link to his blog from but I do remember that I almost didn’t click on it.

I am sure glad I did.

Through reading his blog and the information that was available I have learned so much and in such a short amount of time. It’s just crazy.

I’ve learned about starting an iPhone App business and earning Passive Income through that. I’ve learned about building back links to your website, SEO, Social Media and Affiliate Marketing.

The list goes on and on.

Hard Work is Paying Off

What’s crazy is I’m seeing the results of all this now. I’m super stoked because last month I made over $84 Dollars last month in ClickBank sales and over $44 in July.

It’s awesome because I wouldn’t have made that money if I hadn’t ever clicked on that Smart Passive Income link.

I think one of the most important things that I have learned though is. Take action. Don’t put anything off. Just start doing something!

Set up a blog and start blogging away. It takes time to get numbers, readers and traffic to your blog. But, once you do, you plant the seeds that have the potential for you to begin making money online.

And so I was Off

Which is why the name of this blog is iWings which has nothing to do with Passive Income. I was so eager to get started with all their newly discovered information. I had an old domain lying around that wasn’t getting used.

I dusted it off, installed WordPress and got to blogging.

Had I took a deep breath and slowed down I probably would have done some keyword research first and come up with something more appropriate. But, I’ve gotten used to it now.

Meet Your Goals

I just wanted to share that with you and hope that you are still writing and taking as much initiative as you can in achieving your goals online.

Whether it’s making money online or just sharing your favorite recipes with the world.

If you haven’t seen it already; I highly recommend taking 26 minutes out of your day to really be inspired. Never stop reaching as high as you can. Even if you have to stand on a desk or a chair.
