I’m super stoked today. A fresh new opportunity has presented itself to me. Let me explain.
I have come across an awesome opportunity today. What’s crazy about it is that only a couple of day ago I was going to approach this person who is a very good and close friend of mine and ask him the same thing. One, the only reason why I was hesitant was that I was still sitting on it and thinking about whether I wanted to bother him about it or not.
Two, is he is very busy with his wife, family, kids, full time job, (hopefully passive income will fix that) and on top of that he is fixing up his house as well. As you can see his plate is very full. I was pretty sure the last thing that he would want was to work on an iPhone App together. Let alone spare the time.
Yet on my not so gravity free 9 to 5 during my lunch break today I stopped in my tracks as I read the email from him on my iPhone. He had approached me about this App he wants to make. Awesomeness! Of course. I would love to help out.
I believe that this may go back to about a month or so ago when I approached him for a few songs that I was after for an iPhone App that I am working on. I needed some music. I know how talented he is and thought I would ask. I approached him about it because he is a very, very talented producer. A very talented person all around really. Anything he does is remarkable. A real artist.
Needless to say he supplied a track which totally rocks. I’m very happy with it and it fits the tone of the app very well.
Another reason why I am super stoked about this App is that it gives us an opportunity to work together. I (we) have been wanting to collaborate on a project for many years now. Finally now, with this we can.
I am certain that this is going to be a very successful endeavor. I know that with this project that there will be many more triumphant and fun projects that will follow.
The cherry on top is that this is a life long friend of mine and somebody that I have been wanting to work with for what has seemed to be an eternity.
This is truly a blessing.
Which leads me to this. No matter how much the world wants to bring you down. You should always look around and count your blessings.
